November 2020

Following recent Government announcements, we are now in a new National lockdown which is scheduled to run from
5th November to 2nd December.

Sadly, churches will no longer be able to meet in person for Sunday services, so we will return to meeting on Zoom for this period.

Services will start at 11.00am using the same link as before. Please contact Ps Ade if you would like him to send you the link again.

These are difficult and uncertain times. Let's remember that God is sovereign and has not been taken by surprise at what is happening. Let us continue to trust Him and maintain fellowship and intimacy with Him as we journey through these days. May we know His peace and may God keep you, protect you and make His face to shine upon us all. Blessings.

October 2020

A message from Ps Ade:

Dear BOCF Member,
We return to our Church building for services for the first time on Sunday 18th October. Please let us be reminded and aware of the following critical pieces of information:

1. The current “Tier 2” restrictions placed on London do not affect places of worship.
2. You can only be in church if you register here
3. Should you want to be in church but can’t access the registration link, please let me know and I will register you, providing there are spaces left.
4. If you feel unwell, please stay at home.
5. Maintain appropriate social distancing while in the building unless you belong to the same family bubble.
6. Wear face covering at all times unless exempt.
7. Observe proper hygiene measures and all other protocols put in place.
8. No singing in the service.
9. For the time being, there are no Children’s Sunday School or Crèche facilities.
10. Service commences at 10.30am
11. Those unable to be in church can watch livestream here
12. Please note, clocks go back 1 hour on the night of Saturday 24th October.

May the Lord be glorified continually in our lives and may we know His blessings always. Amen.

September 2020

A message from Ps Ade:

To everyone at BOCF,
For those who have not been able to join the church services on Zoom, please be informed that, barring any further change in government regulations, the leadership has decided that our first day of services in our church building will be Sunday 18th October, starting at 10.30am.
In due course, more information will be provided to all members about necessary protocols to ensure safety and the confidence of those who will be attending. God bless you.

March 2020 - Closure of Services

In light of the recent government directives on reducing social contacts as a means of minimising the spread of the Coronavirus, and upon subsequent instructions from our Church’s National Office, we are having to suspend all activities, effective immediately, until further notice. Should you require any assistance, please call our Church number
0208-952-8292 and leave a message. Alternatively, please send an email to bocfac@aol.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible

In these trying times, we urge you not to live in fear but to live in faith, believing that Jesus Christ as Lord is Sovereign. He has you in the palm of His hands.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”‭‭ (Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NKJV)

May His peace guard your hearts and minds. AMEN.

If you are able to download the free app, "ZOOM Cloud Meetings", then please join us for a couple of weekly video conference gatherings on:

*Wednesdays - Prayer at 8.00pm*

*Sundays - Meeting at 11.00am*

Please send your details to Pastor Ade and he will send you a link to join the meeting. Unless you are speaking, please mute your microphone (on mobile devices, touch the screen then touch the microphone icon) as it helps to clear up the sound. Thank you.

Message from Pastor Ade:
Dear Church Member,
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
I am sending this message, on behalf of the Leadership Team, to all our members. You or somebody you know might find it useful. These are trying times indeed. Should you have financial obligations to a creditor or creditors and are unable to meet them due to reduced income, there are two organisations that can help negotiate, on your behalf, with the creditor(s):

1: Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
www.capuk.org
Telephone: 01274 760720
Address: Christians Against Poverty, Jubilee Mill, North Street, Bradford, BD1 4EW
New enquiries helpline: 0800 328 0006

2: Stepchange
www.stepchange.org
0800 138 1111 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm

But if you are struggling with food and sustenance, please let the church know and we will do our best to help. Rest assured that the matter will be treated with the strictest confidentiality. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:13).
Amen.
Bocf Leadership Team.
